Sean's
Story.
Sean Palmer is a Managing Partner at Dodo Relocations and has been helping expatriates successfully settle in Mauritius since 2014. Originally from South Africa, Sean holds dual South African and British nationality and completed his studies in Marketing in South Africa before earning a Master's degree in the United Kingdom.
Although internationally minded — having lived in South Africa, the UK, the USA and briefly Australia — Sean's connection to Mauritius runs deep. He has been visiting the island since 1998 and relocated permanently from London with his wife and young son in 2010. Their daughter was later born in Mauritius, making the island truly home for their family.
Having personally navigated international relocation, Sean understands exactly what clients experience when moving countries. Known for his highly hands-on approach, he personally accompanies clients through every stage of the relocation journey. His extensive local network and long-standing relationships across Mauritius allow him to open doors, solve problems quickly and make the settling-in process feel effortless.
Outside of work, Sean enjoys island life on the water — kayaking, fishing and spending time outdoors with his family. He firmly believes Mauritius is one of the best places in the world to live and raise children, and takes genuine pleasure in helping others build their new life here.

Steven's
Story.
Steven Holvec is a Partner at Dodo Relocations and a seasoned entrepreneur with over 20 years' experience across sales, investment and property development. Since relocating from South Africa to Mauritius, he has developed a strong interest in the relocation industry. It allows him to combine his extensive real estate and business expertise with a genuine passion for helping expats from around the world transition smoothly into island life.
A former international hockey player, Steven brings elite teamwork, discipline and relationship-building to every relocation and property solution. He has founded and scaled multiple businesses and is known for meticulous standards, clear communication and a relentless work ethic that secures strong outcomes for clients in competitive markets.
At Dodo Relocations, Steven focuses on strategic advice and hands-on support for international clients — from property search to practical settling-in services — ensuring each move is as seamless as possible.
